Travels in 2020-2021
The devastating effects of COVID-19 on a global scale have resulted in the curtailment of travel and as a travel writer my own travel plans have been put on hold. But I've been keeping busy!
I had three travel articles appear in the Winter 2020-2021 issue of Canadian World Traveller Magazine, including
-Tana Toraja, Sulawesi, Indonesia: A Defining Experience
-Hikone Castle, Japan: Beyond Imagination
-Mitake Sanso, A Shrine Stay in Okutama, Tokyo, Japan
https://www.yumpu.com/en/document/read/65145844/canadian-world-traveller-winter-2020-21-issue
And I will have four articles appear in the Spring issue, set for the end of May, 2021, featuring aspects of Guatemala (2), Columbia and Bangkok.
Other than that I have been working with one of my non-travel clients to organize their Annual Conference in the Fall.
For my own peace of mind I've been walking, hiking and birding almost every day (lots of Owls in the Toronto area and the Spring migration season for songbirds is fast approaching!). I post my photos regularly on Facebook and Instagram and am in the process of building my own birding website.
You can check out my progress at www.photosonthewing.com
Stay healthy!
Regards!
Steve
